Marbled Matriarch's of the Southeast
We started with a Registered Gelbvieh bred heifer purchase in 2022 out of the TJB Gelbvieh annual sale, and from there we dove right into flushing for our own embryos and purchasing the best embryos out of Registered Red Angus and Registered Gelbvieh herds that we could find. From the start, the focus has been on moderate-framed, solid footed, and above average milking cows, who will excel in the heat of the Georgia summer. Our ladies are built to thrive on grass and receive no supplemental grain once they have entered the breeding herd. If they can't make it on grass, they're too expensive to keep and those genetics are better served for a feedlot.
The third Thursday in October we host our bred heifer sale to share the top maternal genetics with fellow cattle producers across the US. Not only will these heifers turn into some of the top producing cows in your herd, they will be bred to bulls that carry the level of carcass quality that you can build your beef operation around. If you buy a bred heifer from us, and she isn't bred back at 30 months, we'll buy her back if you feel she doesn't end up fitting into your program.
We are constantly holding frozen embryo sales so that you can have an immediate impact in the production of your herd. Each sale will have 10-20 lots with 3 or 4 embryos per lot. Some will be purebred with a strong emphasis on maternal traits, and some with those maternal qualities will be crossed to bulls with an emphasis on the carcass qualities that will excel in a finishing operation.
The evidence is clear - grass-fed beef is healthier for you and cleaner for the environment. It keeps animals out on the pasture, and out of a dry feedlot. High in Omega-3's, high in protein content, beef is one of the best sources for vitamins and minerals you can find. Only in the last 90-120 days will we consider feeding grain to our beef cattle, which at that point helps to amplify the marbling process and give you that premier steakhouse experience you are expecting.

I'll never forget the time I was driving through Central Florida and I saw a truck with a bed full of oranges, and birds flying overhead dropping excrement all over the oranges. You could say that left a bad taste in my mouth - pun intended. Come by the farm and you can see our animals grazing, lounging, and living their best life.

2) The cattle industry's continued focus on building docile cattle with excellent maternal and carcass traits. Through our embryo production program, we want to help your farm reach that next level, with cattle you can bring your kids around.
